Thank god for the wonders of social media. If it wasn’t for Ian coming across us on Facebook we probably wouldn’t have been able to capture this awesome wedding. And what a venue..!!

We first met Alix and Ian over a coffee and breakfast and it was clear from the first minute that this was going to be a gorgeous wedding. Of that first meeting and what we did on the day they wrote this lovely review;

Ian came across Andy on Facebook. We decided to book him because the photographs that we'd seen of his were amazing and very natural rather than forced / posed, also he was so lovely - down to earth - easy going - and funny whilst all the time remaining professional. He exceeded our expectations, he was a pleasure to have around / work with on the day - photographs were excellent - and they were presented beautifully. Oak Tree of Peover Wedding Photography

The Oak Tree of Peover is a unique, contemporary venue set in the heart of Cheshire surrounded by stunning countryside views. Oak beams and lots of natural light makes this venue fresh and bright whilst subtle lighting in the evening gives it a magical, romantic feel.

This was the first time we had shot at the venue and it did not disappoint. The barn itself is bright and airy with the immediate area outside providing both lawn and terracing for guests to relax and enjoy the day.

The wider area around the barn provides a stunning backdrop for photographs.

The most memorable part of the planning process for Alix and Ian was finding this most perfect venue together.

For any couple starting out on the planning journey there advise mirrors what we say to our clients, on the big day make sure you get some time to yourselves, you want to enjoy the day together - it's so easy to get caught up making sure that your guests are having a good time that you don't spend enough time together. Take 5 / 10 minutes to take absolutely everything in, you've spent so much time planning everything and making sure that it's perfect that you don't want to forget a thing.
