Carden Park Wedding Photography

Carden Park is located just outside Chester set in the rolling Cheshire countryside and was the perfect backdrop for this amazing wedding. Sarah and Danny got married in the Shooting Suite which is close to the vineyards at the top of the Carden Park Hotel estate. The three acre vineyard is able to produce up to 6,000 bottles of Carden Park Estate Reserve sparkling wine each year from the two grape varieties grown, Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir. Not a bad backdrop for a wedding..!!

Cheshire Wedding Photography

We first met Sarah and Danny at a local pub for a drink and a chat about their wedding plans. We were struck straight away at just how much in love they were and a lovely friendly couple. They later told us how much we put them at ease too so it wasnt long before we were getting ready for the big day.

It was only in our final planning meeting just before the wedding that Danny mentioned his uncle who just happened to be a very old friend of mine and the penny finally dropped….. we know most of the family which made if extra special for me..!!

Wedding Photographs at Carden Park Hotel

When we arrived on the morning of the wedding Sam and Nat from the Hair Worx had already done their thing on the bridal parties hair while Louise Elliot was well on with working her magic with a make-up brush.

Sarah said that one of the most stressful things was having to deal with having three pregnant bridesmaids..!! haha

Sarah looked stunning in her dress from Blush Boutique and the flowers were blooming beautiful…. no they actually were from Blooming Beautiful..!!

Wedding Photography

Although the weather wasn’t particularly kind to us on the day it certainly didn’t dampen anyones spirits. Everyone had a fantastic time and the staff at Carden Park were always on hand. The weather is seldom bad for the whole day and we were lucky enough to get our for 30-40 mins after the wedding breakfast to grab some portraits of Sarah and Danny as well as the bridal party.

We also got to have a quick ride in a golf buggy out to the bridge over the Carden Brook which can be seen as you enter up the drive. Both Sarah and Danny really wanted a few pictures there and it was also the opportunity to have a few moments away from the guests to reflect on what was a brilliant day..!!
