Award winning documentary and creative wedding photographer covering the North West as well as the UK. As a husband and wife team our aim is to help you relax and enjoy your wedding day. We love weddings and we feel this is reflected not only in our photography but also in how we insert ourselves into your day. We allow your day to flow naturally, capturing the day as it unfolds without too much posing and interference. We do incorporate a little of the traditional as formals and group shots are often an important part of the day but try to keep this low key allowing you and your guests to enjoy the occasion.

Documentary Wedding Photography 

We like to capture weddings as they happen, in the moment.! Preferring to be unobtrusive, letting the day flow as it should do without too much intervention. We believe our job is to capture the essence of the day and not dictate what happens. Our style is relaxed, natural and modern with a splash of the creative now and again. We love a good wedding and go out of our way to make sure that you have the day you have been planning for so long.

Engagement Photography

The Pre Wedding shoot normally lasts about an hour to an hour and a half depending on location. As well as trying out some cool poses/locations we try and use the time to get familiar with one another. Most likely you will not have been in front of a camera in this way before so its a case of getting use to the intensity and direction (although we try not to give too much of this....). The time we spend on these shoots can give us valuable information for your wedding day and it gives us the opportunity to get to know you better too..!! The best bit is we get to go have a coffee/beer afterwards.... ;-)

Engagement Photos

The main thing you need to think about is where you would like to go. If you have a particular place that is special to you both then (logistics and timings willing) we will try and accommodate this. If you don't have such a place then you might need to consider the style of the shoot..!!

Urban Shoots.....

These can be really cool..!! We have shot all over Manchester city centre from Castlefield (above), the Northern Quarter and Salford Quays, all have a certain attraction and loads and loads of photo opportunities. If you are particular uneasy in front of the camera and don't want too many people around maybe consider doing this kind of shoot early on a Sunday morning (which we tend to favour). Plus by the time we have finished the pubs are starting to open..... :-P

Countryside/Woodland

If you love a walk in the hills or woodland then this may be for you. We live on the border of the Peak district and within a fairly short drive have access to some stunning scenery and park land. We have travelled slightly further afield on occasion for the right kind of shoot like this example which was for a lovely couple who live in the Lake District. He works as a woodsman and loves life in the forest so we met 'half way' at the stunning Bolton Abbey with its woodland walks and abbey ruins.
