COVID Weddings

Although this years has been tough for weddings we were expecting people to be cautious with future enquiries so it was a huge (and pleasant) surprise to get one for a wedding in 7 weeks time..!! That was the situation with Zoe and Paul’s lovely intimate COVID restricted wedding at The Deanwater Hotel.

This was one of the few good things to come out of the pandemic and its many limitations on our normal way of life. The restrictions on numbers meant that the people in attendance were those that meant the most to the couple which made for a fabulous atmosphere.

The Deanwater Hotel Weddings

The Deanwater is situated in the village of Woodford in 5 acres of beautiful private grounds. A privately owned hotel which has been owned and run by the same family for over 40 years.

We were fortunate that with the restrictions Zoe and Paul had exclusive use of the facilities with the ceremony held in the larger Balmoral Suite to allow for social distancing with the breakfast served in the smaller more intimate Gold Suite.

We arrived early to capture Zoe and her bridesmaids getting ready before capturing the ceremony then family formals and portraits of the couple. The grounds of the hotel are stunning and the iconic bridge has recently been replaced after being damaged due to severe weather and flood waters.

Zoe and Paul described their day as Perfect, exactly what they wanted and being memorable for the fact they organised it from start to finish in 10 weeks..!!
