Becky + Tom | The Wroxeter Hotel

Back again..!!

We were back at The Wroxeter Hotel after a break of a few years this summer on a gloriously hot June day for Becky and Tom’s gorgeous wedding. Sadly due to COVID restrictions they couldn’t use the woodland area for the ceremony which was instead held in the Tipi with several sides removed to comply with the restrictions in place at the time. It was a good job really as it was a VERY warm and humid day so the breeze was very welcome..!!

This was a true pandemic wedding if ever there was one. Becky said of the journey ‘never book a wedding at the start of a pandemic thinking it will blow over.!!'.

It was a difficult one for us because we never truly got to embrace planning our wedding as it was always in the back of our mind that it may not go ahead due to covid. This did ruin the magic for us. But we were always joined in the fact that no matter what, it was going to be the most special day and it truly was..!’

Becky and Toms advise about their day is very poignant given the circumstances; ‘ make sure that you don't let things bother you on your day. Nothing can be changed so just enjoy it and go with the flow. It's never going to go completely to plan but the results are always the same. You marry the person you're head over heels for and you look crackin' in your dress so just enjoy it..!!’

We had an absolute blast as both Becky and Tom were so laid back and relaxed about the whole day and were an absolute pleasure to be around..!!
