We are BACK..!!!

So, after 17 months we are finally back shooting weddings. Like most in the industry we have been desperate to get back so it was a huge relief to finally get back doing what we love..!!

Windy Harbour Wedding Photography

This traditional farmhouse hotel and restaurant is situated just outside Glossop, in Derbyshire. Offering spectacular views over the Woodhead and Longdendale this is the most local venue to us and one we shoot at quite regularly. Sarah and Lee are great and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Not only that, the food is stunning..!!! :-)

Glossop Wedding

We first met Samantha + Phil pre pandemic following a recommendation from the venue. They said of our meeting and support during the pandemic and lead up to the wedding;

We came across A W Photography via a recommendation from our wedding venue. We met Andy and Julie in 2019, pre-covid, for a drink to introduce ourselves and discuss our wedding plans. From then on, we knew they were the photographers for us! Over 12 months of planning throughout a global pandemic, Andy and Julie were just amazing. So helpful and flexible fitting us in for a pre-wedding shoot once restrictions enabled us to, and then again when we moved our date by a week to enable 30 guests. On the day, not only were they our photographers, but also personal buttonhole fitters, dress arrangers and bouquet holders! Our day was perfect and they were a huge part of that. It wouldn't have been the same without them! Our wedding photos are perfect and we have definitely made friends for life!!

Wedding Photographs

Samantha + Phil are HUGE F1 fans and planned to go to the British Grand Prix for their honeymoon. Thankfully the restrictions for this event were lifted and a full crowd was allowed in, having seen the social media posts from them during the weekend, its clear they had a fantastic time..!! Plus the race was filled with incident..!!

To keep the theme going through the wedding day Samantha had arranged a surprise video message for Phil. We set up a screen and projector after she had forwarded a video montage to us including messages from Zak Brown (CEO of McLaren Racing), George Russel (Williams F1 driver and a Mercedes driver of the future) and Ted Kravitz (Sky Sports F1 presenter)…… needless to say Phil was speechless..!! No easy feat for those who know him..!! Hahaha……

High Peak Weddings

Of their wedding they described it as intimate, fun, exciting, perfect and full of love..!! After organising their wedding through a global pandemic the advise they gave to anyone arranging their own wedding is to enjoy every moment of the planning process and that the wedding day goes so fast, enjoy every moment and make sure to take 10 minutes out with your partner to tell them you love them..!! Great advise for everyone..!!
