THE MONASTERY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Every wedding photographer has a bucket list, venues and places they would love to shoot at. I’m fortunate in that my list is quite small now as I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at some amazing places. One that was most definitely on my list was The Monastery in Gorton. Technically I had actually already photographed at the Monastery but it wasn’t a wedding. Our daughter danced there for a special event with one of the Britains Got Talent Semi Finalists ‘Flava’ which was an amazing night..!!

But there is something magical about this place as a wedding venue, not least because Julie’s grandma got married their many years earlier. It was lovely that we finally got to shoot there almost a year after we had lost dear Nina….. but she did make an appearance as Julie was attacked by a butterfly…. definitely Nina getting her own back..!!

MANCHESTER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

We had know Jodie for a few years as she has her own successful wedding planning/stationary/event company so it was an absolute honour when she asked us to cover her big day..!! Jodie had some lovely thinks to say about us……

I have known Andy and Julie for a few years now and knew that when my partner proposed we had to ask them to photograph our wedding. We are quite a laid back couple and certainly not used to being in front of the camera but Andy kept us laughing and smiling throughout our big day. Both Andy and Julie are so personable, friendly and best of all...relaxed. Which is great on a highly pressured day. Andy photographed both our engagement shoot and our wedding back in August and I couldn't recommend Andy and Julie enough. If you are looking for a photographer who is down to earth, funny, confident, relaxed and value for money. Look no further. Thank you both for a fantastic day and our gorgeous wedding photographs! GORTON MONASTERY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

The day was gloriously sunny and Jodie looked amazing in her dress from 7th Heaven Bridal. She did her own make up with her hair by Hair Creations North West.

When describing her day Jodie said it was Awesome! Memorable! Fun! Sunny! Emotional!… and we would have to agree..!!
