Holmfirth Vineyard is approx. 10 miles from our office but this was the first time we had had the opportunity to shoot here. As soon as Claire and Carl booked us we took the opportunity to do a site visit…. to check out the venue of course….. and not the fabulous breakfast, tour and wine tasting..!! That would be unprofessional..!! ;-)

Wedding Ceremony

This was one of those weddings which was very close to home for us.! Not in terms of the venue but the families and friends were all very local and most of them we knew and had known for many many years.! This always makes these events additionally stressful but also such lovely events as we get to catch up with old friends.

North West Wedding Photography

We met up with Claire in the morning as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids, her mum and Carls mum. The atmosphere was brilliant with everyone laughing and joking.! While Louise and Antonia worked their magic with make up and hair respectively we spent the time capturing the chaos..!! :-)

Claire and her dad Peter travelled from the accomodation to the venue [about half a mile up the road] in a white London taxi while all the guests waited in the ceremony hall. The main function room at the venue have stunning views over the vineyard and down the valley and is a beautiful place to get married.

Claire and here bridesmaids looked stunning as they made there way down the aisle, Carl and his groomsmen scrubbed up well too to be fair.! :-D

Holmfirth Vineyard

The whole day was a wonderful event with these two local families coming together to celebrate Claire and Carls wedding. We asked them to describe their day in 5 works to which Claire and Carl said it was Overwhelming, Emotional, Beautiful, Picturesque and full of Love to which I dont think we could disagree with.!
