Victoria + Liam | Etrop Grange

Etrop Grange wedding photography - Victoria and Liam

We can’t wait to show you Victoria and Liams’ Etrop Grange wedding. These two are so much fun to be around and I don’t think we stopped laughing with them all day.

Etrop Grange is a Grade II listed manor house just outside Manchester. Over the years it has been a private residence, digs for the RAF, a notorious air hostess party house in the 1950s and now it’s a wedding venue packed full of character.

 Relaxed wedding photography

Within minutes of meeting Victoria and Liam it felt like we’d been friends for years and that feeling just continued throughout the wedding day. They were both adamant that they wanted to bring their two families together from all over the world to have a brilliant party and that’s exactly what happened!

Victoria arrived at Etrop in style, chauffered there in an Imperial Open Top tourer. She couldn’t stop smiling as she walked down the aisle to meet her Liam. These two love having a good giggle together and their wedding ceremony was no exception. It ended with roars of laughter as Liam had to wipe lipstick from his face following their first kiss!

From our various meet-ups prior to their wedding we knew that Liam and Victoria were after a really relaxed day, with the focus being on the party rather than posing for hours on end. That fits in perfectly with our ethos as photographers.

We spent the majority of their day documenting all the hugs, laughter and champagne drinking before nipping away with Victoria and Liam for some portraits. As relaxed as they wanted the day to be they were still keen to throw some more posed portraits into the mix so we broke out the smoke bombs and got creative! They decided to steal away for 30 mins to go to Fletcher Moss in Didsbury for some portraits. We also took the opportunity to nip to Parsonage Gardens which is just next door.

We were lucky enough to get a gorgeous sunset to end the day so managed to persuade (not that much persuasion was needed..!!) to get Victoria and Liam to walk 50 yards down the road to a nearby park to capture some late evening portraits.

We loved every minute of Victoria and Liam’s day and found it so hard to choose just a few favourites for this blog post. If you’re planning your own wedding at Etrop Grange we’d love to hear from you, get in touch via our contact form.
